Marisa Brandeis Kermanian was born and raised in Great Neck and a graduate of Great Neck North High School who is deeply committed to the continued success of our school district and community. As a parent of three children currently attending Great Neck Public Schools and a longtime volunteer leader within our PTAs, Marisa cares deeply about protecting the excellence that makes Great Neck such a special place to live and learn.
Great Neck Public Schools is one of the greatest strengths of our community. Marisa believes our schools thrive when parents, educators, administrators, and community members work together with a shared focus on the success of every student. She is committed to maintaining strong academic standards, supporting meaningful parental involvement, and ensuring careful and responsible management of district resources so that our schools remain among the very best in New York.
Marisa is running for the Board of Education to bring experienced leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and a strong commitment to supporting our students, families, and educators while helping Great Neck continue to be a lighthouse district for years to come.

You can still vote by requesting an absentee or early mail ballot.
Absentee Ballot

To request an application, contact the District Clerk’s Office at (516) 441-4007 or visit the Phipps Administration Building at 345 Lakeville Road on school days from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Completed ballots must be received by 5:00 PM on Election Day.
*Voters who are registered as permanently disabled will automatically receive a ballot by mail, and do not need to request a ballot for each election.
Early Mail Ballot

Request an early mail ballot application by calling (516) 441-4007 or visiting the District Clerk’s Office.

To receive your ballot by mail, you must apply at least 7 days before the election.

You can apply in person up until the day before the election.

Applications cannot be submitted more than 30 days before the election.

Completed ballots must be received by 5:00 PM on Election Day to be counted.
